Ingredients for 5 people
1 pack of kritharaki , medium size
1kg of beef chopped in small pieces
6 fine chopped tomatoes
2 fine chopped onions
Olive oil
Grated cinammon
Salt and Pepper


Take a pyrex and pour the tomatoes, onions, meat, spices a little olive oil, 1 cup of water and bake in the oven for about 45 minutes in 180 C degrees .

Once the meat has browned, add 3 cups of hot water, kritharaki (1 part kritharaki and 1/2 part water), add a little bit more olive oil and continue baking until the kritharaki boils and absorbs all the liquid. We can also add some grated cheese, if we want.

Apart from Pyrex, we can also use clay jugs!

Our Juvec is ready and enjoy your meal!!!
