Ingredients for 4 people

750 minced lamb

3 slices of bread – well soaked

3 cloves of garlic – mashed

1tablespoon white vinegar

1 egg white

a few mint leaves

1 teaspoon of cinnamon

salt, oregano & pepper


In a deep bowl, mix all the ingredients for the kebab well, and knead very well for about 8-10 minutes until you have a homogeneous and fluffy mixture.

Cover the mixture with cling film and leave the mixture in the refrigerator for about 1.5 hours

Then take the mixture out of the fridge and shape it into individual kebabs.

Our kebabs are ready for grilling either on a charcoal or electric grill, or if we do not own any of them, in our kitchen oven at 180C -200C.

We can accompany them with pita (Arabic) with tomato, onion and tzatziki.

PS. We can also change the composition of minced meat, by adding to our mixture a little beef or pork depending on our taste preferences.
